If you're talking about a book published in Denmark, or a book by a Danish author published in the US, UK, Canada, or Australia, all those countries are signatories to the Berne Convention, which made more uniform the copyright laws of many nations. The author or his assignee would own all rights for as long as he lives, plus 70 years. After that, if no heir renews the copyright, the work enters public domain for use by anyone.
