my pastor said all he needs is jesus and jesus will always be there to help him, he went to jail for soliciting prostitution and rape jesus?

    Jesus will help us through our troubles

    He won't help us escape then fallout from our evil acts

    this guy was no saint but plenty of saints have been martyred and God was with them, and now they are with God
