Is Cassidy a common name ?

Cassidy was on rank #248 in 2014 in the US (#763 in the UK)

I'm assuming you're from the States though. So I'd say it isn't that common, it would be unlikely for her to have another Cassidy in her class.

Now, personally, I don't think Cassidy is a bad name. At the same time I don't particularly like it, though. To me Cassidy never sounded like a name a person would have that is particularly clever. But that's just me. If you love the name go for it.

It used to be quite common. It's dated. Most women I know named Cassidy are in their twenties or older. It's still a nice name.

I've heard it like twice, and they both go by Cassie. Cassidy sounds cute and princessy i think.
