Skills learned from working in a nursing home?
I am writing about skills that can be acquired by working as a volunteer in a nursing home , but I can not seem to come up with some good set of skills.
I have written about:
- communication skills
- sense of empathy/responsibilty
- respecting confidentiality

Organizational skills. Patients in nursing homes can often feel that they have lost control of their life. By preparing them such as organizing things for them so that they can do certain things for themselves one must be a thinker and be able to organize. In this way we can give them some of the independence they feel they have lost.
