If you had free plane tickets, where would you go with your family, if in my situation?

I am a single Dad and have an opportunity to take my girls (6 and 13) anywhere in the U.S. They have 2 tickets already paid for by their grandma and need to be used before May.

I just need to pay for my own ticket. Other than Orlando (which we visit too much already) what is a good city to go to, with my kids.

It depends on what your children's interests are and what your budget is since you are having to buy a ticket. Los Angeles or New York City are favorite destinations. Chicago has a lot of things to do as well. I also think Atlanta is nice with the Coca-Cola plant tour.

I'd go to Hawaii if I had my choice of going anywhere. Oahu is a good choice if it's your first visit. Be sure to rent a car. Even though Waikiki is built up, you can get in a car and drive 20 minutes and be on a beach with nobody else on it. Hilton Hawaiian Village is a good family friendly resort and you can often get good deals as long as you don't go during Easter

Since we don't know where you live, some options that jump to mind:

    -NY. Broadway, Rockafellar center, museums

    -South Carolina

    -Wyoming has national parks

Somewhere warm and sunny, can you go to Maui or somewhere like that? Then you have California, I would never suggest Florida, with the amount of Canadian snow birds down there.

Try New York, Washington D.C., or Los Angeles.
