My computer seems to be slow and it s hard to play streaming videos.?
Recently, my computer crashed and we had to wipe Windows XP off and reinstall it. I have reinstalled all the drivers, I think, and everything seems okay except when I try to play videos (such as on hulu), the audio and video are not in sync. The audio comes first and then there is about a two second delay for the video. Also, my computer seems to be taking longer to connect with certain sites online. I am running Firefox, but I have also tried running Chrome and that didn t help. Everything was fine before I had to reinstall Windows. Any ideas? Thanks.

run the windows repair tool ... i'd guess that one or more patches didn't get downloaded and reinstalled now that MicroSoft no longer provides support to Win XP.
next idea -- surf the Net for an updated Windows XP image file that includes all the patches. [I know these used to exist but haven't looked for one in a long while]
