last my cat got ahold of my pet rats he killed one and I had to unfortunately put the other ou of his misery. but before out of sheer fear and panic the poor thing bit e hard. I was bleeding and now my finger is hot, swellowen and pretty dang painful? should I go to direct care? is seems pretty stupid to go for a finger...

It's infection and you can lose your finger or even die even if you go to direct care. You go now okay.
