I have co-codamol 30/500 for an injury, how long is it safe to take them for?

ie how many days can I take them in a row for before my body develops a tolerance to the codeine in them?

    That depends entirely on your brain's physiology AKA your DNA.  Different people have differing dopamine sensitivity and addiction response. 

    Could be 10 days, Could be 1.  You'll know when you start craving them the way you crave water and food.

    Codeine is probably the least addictive opiate, so you'd probably have to take it regularly for a couple of weeks before you'd develop any noticeable tolerance.

    only take them when you have pain.
