If i have a well drilled and can't be approved of a loan, do I have to pay that all up front?

Did the driller deliver the drilled well as contracted? If you signed a contract with your driller that says he only gets paid up front if you get a loan then you don't have to pay it up front. If you signed a normal construction contract, well drilling or any land prep, you owe the money now. The well driller is not responsible for your credit issues. Most contractors who don't get paid put a lien on the property, so they either get paid or get the property. Note, next time get the money together before the work gets contracted.

Ask the company you plan to have drill the well. They can accept payments, or require payment in advance.
