i need help with this question for my critical reading class i just dont get it?

You would think as if you were in a different profession and we're reading someone else's work. You would say things which would support a particular profession. E.G.If you said women get paid less due to biological reasons and used a scientist as evidence. You would think as if you were someone who didn't agree,for example a feminist and draw up a conclusion based on what you think a feminist would say.
