Can a song that staunch Christians reject as evil have some spiritual value to an honestly godly individual?

I'm asking this as a former Christian turned atheist.

Update 2:

I've had a number: Wicked Garden by STP, anything by NIN, A few by Tool, anything by White Zombie or StaticX, and "In The Background" by 3rd eye blind.

    Sure. Some Christians seems to think that if it isn't Gospel music, it is evil. Which is weird, but, that's what some of them think.

    I believe that all music is a gift from God.

    I've never heard of this music, so I will simply say that I do not know for sure. However, God can use ungodly people for godly ends.
