He makes a lot of money. He's a pervert. He was taking secret pics and videos of her one day and she called him a total creep. Then she stayed with him. He manipulates her. Talks her up one day then threatens to leave the next. He buys her stuff to keep her around.
One time she cut him off and he stalked and harassed her. He called her a few months later and ran back to him????
I've been nothing but nice to her. She cries and says I am the only person she can trust and I told her she can do better. I really like her but then she just stays with the jerk.
Is it the money? Is she dysfunctional? Is she just one of those girls that likes azzholes?

No, that is not normal and she is indeed dysfunctional. She has self esteem issues and she probably thinks he is the best that she can do, so that is why she runs back to him. I have seen time and time again on this site and in real life.

It's normal for someone who's been groomed and manipulated by an abusive partner.

1) Girls will never admit it and say it's abuse. But 99% are attracted to assholes.
2. You have been friendzoned. You are too nice and have been categorized a beta male. You are like her gay best friend and not dating material...I suggest letting her go and upping your game.
