lack of sleep? is it okay?

I have read online that it's healthier to sleep 6 hours or for my age (18) 8 hours or more. they say sleeping less than six hours is probably a symptom of diabetes. I want to know if it counts as 6 hours or more sleep. I sleep at 11pm I wakeup at 1 am, and I stay up I sleep again at 3am for three hours again and I wake up again does it count six hours sleep! if not how can I fix my sleeping It seems that I always wake up after few hours! is it healthier to sleep straight 6 to 8 hours or breaking it down.

    Restlessness could be caused by many different things. Stress, anxiety, etc. The list goes on. I would consult a sleep doctor for a further analysis for the best results.
