Christians: What do you think/believe will take place between the 1st an 2nd resurrections when Satan will be bound for a thousand years.?

Update:

Some denominations teach Satan will be bound by circumstances as there will be no one for him to tempt, all those who are not taken to heaven when Jesus comes will be destroyed and the earth lay bare for a thousand years,

    The 1st Resurrection is only those who serve God in helping Him tell people that they have to obey all of Jesus' sayings , and always doing only what He wants done . After the 1000 years will take place the 2nd Resurrection of the rest of the dead . They will have been having to stand before God 24/7 all of those years , because they have nothing to possess ( like when legion begged Jesus to cast them into a herd of pigs rather than have to view God ) in order to hide them from God's face . But when they are resurrected they will be no wiser than the day they died , accept they will fear dying , where they would have to face God 24/7 again . Some may achieve immortality and be able to handle God's presence just fine , but most will probably not , and so will prefer to die again ( but this time from self spontaneous human combustion ) when God's expanding fiery presence extends over the whole universe .

    satan and his angels will roam the lifeless n void earth for 1000 yrs with no one to tempt. This will be hell for him pardon the pun. After the 1000 years, Jesus comes with the saints in the New Jerusalem, the wicked lost are raised, Satan convinces them that they can overcome the new Jerusalem, they then are destroyed

    That is the subject of The Revelation To St. John. It is written in Jewish figures of speech because they are the people who will be going through those times. Christians will be in heaven attending the wedding supper of the lamb.

    Christ reigns in the Kingdom of Heaven the Church Triumphant the abode of the living and here on earth through the seed of His Church Militant in which the Apostles were given thrones in turn there is an Apostolic line of succession to those thrones. He also reigns under the earth the netherworld the abode of the dead in which He was given the keys to death and the netherworld also called the Church Suffering in which every knee bows. With the coming into His Glory came the Particular Judgement in which the righteous (saints) are separated from the unrighteous (condemned). As the saints that lived before the advent of Christ entered into His Glory were delivered into the Kingdom of Heaven (Church Triumphant) from Abraham's Bosom (Limbo of the Fathers) so that we to might have life through Christ.

    The Devil (Satan) is bound in chains this was in relation to Christ entering into His Glory in which if we die in friendship with Christ we are made perfect through Him in which we rise into the Kingdom of Heaven the Church Triumphant this is the resurrection of the righteous as His Glory reached all past, present, and future generations in which the sin of Adam (original sin) can not keep us from Him. The relation of His thousand year reign which is not a literal number of years but figurative for an Age as in the Apostolic Age comes to an end here on earth in which the Devil (Satan) is released upon the earth is in relation to the end times of this world the second coming of Christ in which there will be a great tribulation in relation to the short time the Devil (Satan) has here on earth (this world). The tribes of Gog and Magog symbolizes those who are deceived by the Devil (Satan) the last of the saints here in this world will be persecuted for their belief in Christ than the end of this world comes as it states in Scripture fire will reign down from the heavens upon the earth a cataclysmic event will take place ending all life on earth including the human race. This is not a problem with the saints left here on earth because when they die their spirits will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven the Church Triumphant. As for those deceived by the Devil (Satan) for them waits the netherworld they are condemned. On the last day this takes place after the cataclysmic event all the dead will be risen both the righteous (saints) and the unrighteous (condemned) and all the nations will be judged by Christ this is the Last Judgement in which He will explain why the righteous (saints) will have eternal life and why the unrighteous (condemned) will have eternal punishment.

    Some might think there will be survivors here on earth before the last day but I assure you there will not be any survivors here on earth as it states in Scripture one must die in order to be risen this not only pertains to the resurrection of the righteous our brothers and sisters in the Kingdom of Heaven the Church Triumphant but also the resurrection of all the dead which will take place here on this world on the last day of this world as we know of it now. In the Nicene Creed He will come to judge the living and the dead is not about there being survivors rather the living are the righteous (saints) and the dead are the unrighteous (condemned).

    There are two ends of the world when you die this is the end of this world for you and the end of the world in relation to the cataclysmic event which will end all life including the human race the last day that follows. There are two world to come for the righteous (saints) whom risen into the Kingdom of Heaven the Church Triumphant and after the Final Judgement for the righteous (saints) whom will witness the Kingdom of Heaven and the natural universe/world becoming one together. Just as there are two resurrections.

    The Bible is very clear that the second coming of Jesus is to set up the kingdom. Those in heaven are coming with the Lord. Zech 14 describes this day. 1 Behold, the day of the LORD is coming,

    And your spoil will be divided in your midst.

    2 For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;

    The city shall be taken,

    The houses rifled,

    And the women ravished.

    Half of the city shall go into captivity,

    But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

    3 Then the LORD will go forth

    And fight against those nations,

    As He fights in the day of battle.

    4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,

    Which faces Jerusalem on the east.

    And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,

    From east to west,

    Making a very large valley;

    Half of the mountain shall move toward the north

    And half of it toward the south.

    Thus the LORD my God will come,

    And all the saints with You.

    And in that day it shall be

    That living waters shall flow from Jerusalem,

    Half of them toward the eastern sea

    And half of them toward the western sea;

    In both summer and winter it shall occur.

    9 And the LORD shall be King over all the earth.

    16 And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 17 And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, on them there will be no rain.

    In the passage you brought up it also shows those who were beheaded lived again and reigned with Jesus 1000 years. The earth has been destroyed and God will heal the earth.

    PSALM 72 is a psalm about the 1000 year reign too

    Give the king Your judgments, O God,

    And Your righteousness to the king’s Son.

    2 He will judge Your people with righteousness,

    And Your poor with justice.

    3 The mountains will bring peace to the people,

    And the little hills, by righteousness.

    4 He will bring justice to the poor of the people;

    He will save the children of the needy,

    And will break in pieces the oppressor.

    5 They shall fear You[fn]

    As long as the sun and moon endure,

    Throughout all generations.

    6 He shall come down like rain upon the grass before mowing,

    Like showers that water the earth.

    7 In His days the righteous shall flourish,

    And abundance of peace,

    Until the moon is no more.

    8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea,

    And from the River to the ends of the earth.

    9 Those who dwell in the wilderness will bow before Him,

    And His enemies will lick the dust.

    10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles

    Will bring presents;

    The kings of Sheba and Seba

    Will offer gifts.

    11 Yes, all kings shall fall down before Him;

    All nations shall serve Him.

    12 For He will deliver the needy when he cries,

    The poor also, and him who has no helper.

    13 He will spare the poor and needy,

    And will save the souls of the needy.

    14 He will redeem their life from oppression and violence;

    And precious shall be their blood in His sight.

    15 And He shall live;

    And the gold of Sheba will be given to Him;

    Prayer also will be made for Him continually,

    And daily He shall be praised.

    16 There will be an abundance of grain in the earth,

    On the top of the mountains;

    Its fruit shall wave like Lebanon;

    And those of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

    17 His name shall endure forever;

    His name shall continue as long as the sun.

    And men shall be blessed in Him;

    All nations shall call Him blessed.

    18 Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel,

    Who only does wondrous things!

    19 And blessed be His glorious name forever!

    And let the whole earth be filled with His glory.

    Amen and Amen.

    20 The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.
