Anyone how to fix or replace the kitchen fan switch?
It's an older model, by Broan. I don't need to replace the entire fan, just the switch that turns it on and off. It got jammed somehow. The fan works, just the switch doesn't

The knob may just pull off, then a hex nut on the shaft. A phillips or hex head screw on the cover plate on the underside. Then it is just color to color with the wiring. A bit awkward to reach but other than that not much to it.
You could go to Broan's web site and see if they have a video or a diagram of the compartment.

'Suppose you have a range hood with a bad switch. Gotta take the thing down to get at the inside where the switch is wired. The switch itself is just like $5. Getting at it, and the rest, can take a couple of hours. Get some help there. Sorry.
