How do we bear one another's burdens, and yet, humbly cast all our care upon Him?

First, here are these two references for "bearing" and "casting":

"Brothers, if a man is overtaken in some deviation, you, the spiritual ones, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering yourself, that you not also be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and so you will fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks to be something, he deceives himself, being nothing. But let each one prove his work, and then he alone will have a boast in himself and not as to another. For each one will bear his own load. But let the one being taught in the Word share with the one teaching, in all good things. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man may sow, that he also will reap. For the one sowing to his flesh will reap corruption of the flesh. But the one sowing to the Spirit will reap everlasting life from the Spirit. But we should not weaken in doing good, for in due time we shall reap, if we do not faint. So then, as we have time, let us work good toward all, and especially toward the household of the faith. See in what large letters I write to you with my hand."

(Galatians 6:1-11 LITV)

"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you."

(1 Peter 5:6-7 KJV)

So then, how are we to bear one another's burdens and have "rest unto your souls" at the same time?

Update:

Unless... the fulfilling of the Law of Christ in bearing one another's burdens was included in this TASK to "take My Yoke upon you and learn of Me, for my yoke is easy and my burden is lght"?

If we are to be yoke-fellows with Christ, in all and through all, then perhaps seeing Christ in one another will help us to see that we are taking His Yoke on us even when we help others with their load?... for inasmuch as we do it unto the least of these, we are doing it unto Him! : )

If a person (brother in Christ) is under strain of sin or "life" we are to be with him but guard against the same sin. We are to humbly help restore him but not at the cost of ourselves becoming exhausted. Help them carry their own load (empowering them) and we are to give this burden we take on to the Lord in prayer that we don't get dragged down too. We should not become conceited that we have to help a fellow friend by telling everyone of our good deed. Good deeds are to be done in silent so we don't become conceited in our own eyes. It is the Lord that works through you that should get the credit for He is the giver of wisdom. God won't be fooled by the reasons we tell everyone what we did to help.

We reap what we sow and Giving glory to the Spirit of God and not ourselves brings everlasting life.

We are to do this in Humility and Love for our neighbors / brothers / other people

For a new perspective, check out those verses in The Message and allow the Holy Spirit to speak to your heart-

    https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Galat...

We have 'rest for our souls' as we walk in the Spirit for He is our vindicator as we obey God in everything.

To me that means, I am ultimately responsible only for myself, my own behavior, my own choices. However anyone else might mess up, even as I try to help (with the Holy Spirits guidance) I am still responsible to obey God and when I do, I can have Gods peace as He works where and how I cant.

Whenever I hear that verse about Christs yoke, it reminds me to always trust in Him, walk in the Spirit and do as The Message says- 'learn from Jesus- the unforced rhythms of grace'.

    Great question

Carrying Others’ Burdens. Paul wrote to the Galatians: “Go on carrying the burdens [or, “troublesome things”; literally, “heavy things”] of one another, and thus fulfill the law of the Christ.” (Ga 6:2,)

Here for “burdens” the apostle used baʹre, the plural form of baʹros, a Greek word always used to denote something burdensome or heavy.

However, in verse 5 the apostle states: “For each one will carry his own load,”, what is that?

It is his load of responsibility.

Yet, as the apostle proceeded to show, bearing the burdens of one another does not mean carrying another person’s load of spiritual responsibility to God. In the same context.

It was then that the apostle observed that “each one will carry his own load” of responsibility before the Supreme Judge, Jehovah God.

Such ‘loads’ are the responsibilities that are our own because we are husbands, wives, parents, children, employees.

We cannot totally and irresponsibly throw such loads upon Jehovah but should willingly bear them ourselves.

A husband cannot ask someone else to step in as husband for him. A servant of God cannot ask someone else to study the Word of God for him, he has to do that himself. These are loads or ones own responsibilities.

It is similar when it comes to making decisions. God’s Word provides laws and principles, but we must apply them to the problems facing us. Of course, we can and should ask God for wisdom, strength and his holy spirit to aid us in bearing these loads, but we must not try to get rid of them.

Then what are the burdens that we can throw upon Jehovah? They are anxieties, worries, disappointments and fears regarding the future, such as those David experienced. And they also include the burdens involving our weaknesses and failings. These are the burdens that we are to throw upon Jehovah, for the apostle Peter says: “Throw all your anxiety upon him.” Why? “Because he cares for you.”—1 Peter 5:6, 7.

Christians can help to bear the burdens of one another, but “each one will carry his own load” of spiritual responsibility. No one else can be faithful to God for us.

You can lead a thirsty horse to water, and if he is to weak you may even bring it to him in a bucket, and help him bear the burden.

But if he is able, you cant force him to drink it, that his his responsibility.

    This is contextual abuse.

Every scripture makes perfect sense within its intended context. Removal from context only invites confusion.

Both these passages are true but only within their intended contexts.

It means we help each other out while giving all our cares at the same time to Christ.
