Chick ?!? The way you write the question makes me think you re 16 and want to have a vasectomy before you even start to have serious relationships... If the vasectomy reversal operation worked it s a couple of weeks / months before you have again sperm in your semen. Reversals are expensive elective operation that have a low success rate. In general, a vasectomy is meant for men that have a complete child wish (zero being a valid value) and that are 100% sure the don t want (anymore) kids. The reversals are last resort operations for people that changed their minds. A vasectomy is not a valve you close or open at your wish meant for 18y old adolescents. You still need additional protection if you have a new partner before you can test for STD s.
