traveling nurse?
I want to become a neonatal nurse and I saw a travel nurse job and that combines my two passions together! Does anyone know anything about that? the pros and cons and what its like?

Traveling nurses are often placed into whatever area of the facility has a need. You need to hit the ground running and be very comfortable with constantly changing circumstances. You could have specialization in neonatal care but no guarantee that there are jobs in that area to place you in.

You must be an experienced nurse to travel; you do not get to just go anywhere: you go where someone needs a temp fill in. You often get the worst shifts. You are there to work, not vacation. But first you need a BSN and several years in the NICU.
