Maybe because it's not proof, and math used to try to prove a deity would probably be miles long...? Before people gave up that is and realized that a deity is false and therefor can't be proven.

This is tough. It's pretty good proof. But I think I like the crazier idea that just because a book is 2,000 years old that it's automatically correct, and clearly there weren't crazy people thousands of years ago who could have written it, just like gays didn't exist then either.

This argument could be used to prove that anything exists. I could use it to prove that Earth actually orbits 4 suns instead of 1, because 4 > 1.
