Hello, I m in 6th grade why won t my mom let me buy stuff with my own money?

I m in 6th grade and I have my own money and I have to ask my mom if I can buy it every time.. And I want to buy a bearded dragon she said yes and she swore on her dead dad and now she s saying no and I changed my mind too cause bearded dragons basking light needs to be changed every 6 months and they r expensive so I asked could I get a ferret and she said no and I asked her why and she said because I said no why won t she let me get it? She isn t paying for it or its food... Why is she doing this pls help

    Asking for different animals suggests you don't really know what animal you want, suggesting you haven't completely made your mind up on which you want. This suggests that you aren't completely ready for one. Respect your Mum's decision and wait a while for you to decide which animal you definitely want. Ensure that you won't lose interest in the animal you chose. (DO NOT BUY THE ANIMAL FROM A PET SHOP, BECAUSE PET SHOPS ARE CRUEL TO THEIR ANIMALS)

    Maybe ask for a Hamster or a Gerbil rather than exotic pets.
