Whoever kills a person [unjustly]…it is as though he has killed all mankind." That isn't even close to true, is it?

If you kill one person, that person would have eventually died, anyway. With 7 billion+ people crowding our planet, he'd be missed by a few people for a while, but it wouldn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

If you somehow managed to kill all of mankind, there would be NO MORE PEOPLE. EVER.

Do you see how the two aren't the same?

Update:

Muhammad was so effing stupid.

The Muslims always throw that thing at us to show us how "peaceful" Islam is.

What they don't tell you is that it is NOT meant for the Muslims at all, it;'s a quote from the Talmud for the Jews. See that entire Verse from the Qur'an and see the difference between the real one and the partial one the Muslims try to fool you with.

    Qur'an 5:32

Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, [even] after that, throughout the land, were transgressors.

Now, the "Because of that, ..." that Mohammed [piss be upon him] pretending to be Allah speaking, is referring to there, is the killing of Abel by Cain !?! Why? Because Mohammed [piss be upon him] had no clue as to why that verse was in the Talmud and made up something to make it look like he knew.

Anyways, now you know the Truth.

It's completely true, which is why it says "it is AS THOUGH", not "it is in fact". One unjust killing is tantamount to a hundred,or a thousand, or a million. It's not the number of killings, it's the fact that it was unjust. Surprising that you couldn't figure this out on your own, but I'm glad I could enlighten you.

I think you are thinking too deeply on this one. The quote is an example of "figurative speech," intended to impart a message, that every human life is precious. The speaker doesn't say you have actually "killed all mankind," he merely says it is "as though" you have done so. There is a spirit behind the thought, and a meaningful one, at that.

Your minds are not capable of understanding. You are blind and a seal has been put on your hearts. Islam is only for the purest of people. Islam is a religion of peace regardless of what you say.
