Al Qaida and Daesh are not the same thing.
If Baghdadi is dead, I guess whoever is next most senior takes over Daesh.
As for leadership, it depends on what you mean. In Libya, it would be whoever is running Libya Dawn. Globally, the movement is self sustaining because Wahhabis are everywhere. No need for a central leader.
I would expect to see a lot of growth in Africa and Southeast Asia.
