Jaw surgery infection?

I had jaw surgery 1 week ago, everything went fine. Lately when i look at my stitches i notice that my right side looks much more healed than my left. In fact my left side looks kind of bad. It doesnt look infected and its not throbbing, there's no pus and it's not inflamed but it is red and kind of yellow and the stitching is very noticeable. I am deathly afraid of getting an infection and i wont be able to see my surgeon until this friday. Does this sound ok? I am obsessing over this and worrying myself to death, please help!
