Is there any good rides left at Universal Studios Orlando?
I visited Universal Studios back in 1999 when there were good rides such as:
Jaws
Twister
Earthquake
Back to the Future
I just went on their website and to my knowledge these rides are know longer there :-(
I have never watched a Harry Potter movie a day in my life, I was hoping the theme were still going to be Nickelodeon because I am carrying my son that rather watch Nick than Disney channel.
Is it worth spending $110 per person to go to Universal Studios?
What are the good rides

the only attraction that you mentioned that they still have in a way is earthquake.
its called disaster and while the physical ride is the same the theme of it is very different and in my opinion highly disappointing.
nickelodeon studios has been closed for years and years now.
i can't recall if there is anything nickelodeon related at all anymore.
i too don't care for harry potter and i can tell you that i won't be going back any time soon.
i don't think its worth the price at all for the very few attractions that i do enjoy.
your son really does not like anything to do with disney?
doesn't like mickey, pirates of the caribbean, the lion king, finding nemo, beauty and the beast, indiana jones, the muppets, winnie the pooh, buzz lightyear, monther's inc, lilo and stitch, animals, dinosaurs, the past present and future of the world...??????
i would suggest going onto the disney world website and checking it out before deciding that its not a place to take him just like you did with universal orlando after hearing that it features harry potter.

I suggest that you read all the Harry Potter books, and then watch the movies. They're brilliant.
The rides in that section are great - really exciting and really amazing.
They also have The Mummy - which I love, Men in Black, which is great fun and interactive, some really big scary coasters, and some very good 3D immersion rides.
I went back then too - and yes, I loved all four of those rides, but times change, rides change, and there's no point wishing things would stay the same.
Yes - it's very worthwhile going to both Universal parks.
