why is it that we christian pray for homosexuals and those that do not know the Lord God of Israel and Christ Jesus whom He sent,?

We pray for them to get born again, and delivered from the spirit of homosexuality. They don't know homosexuality is a curse and an abomination to God, because they are blinded by the god of this world ( Satan ).

All things are possible with God, Homosexuality is a curse from God for idolatry and unbelief -Read Romans 1:18-32.

Modern homosexuality in western nations has its origins in Darwin's evolutionary atheism combined with Catholic idolatry of intercession/veneration of saints and the lies they use vainly to cover up their unbelief.

God can and will reverse the curse.

We cannot change the human mind bend on destruction, but we can pray that God's Holy Spirit will intervene and change that person in Lord Jesus Christ's name.

Of course, Homosexuals or idolaters are always ready to persecute us, but we have the example of Lord Jesus Christ to follow-Father, forgive them for they donot know what they do.And many will be won over by this self-less love of God.

Even Abraham who new about the baltant homosexuality of Sodom and Gomorrah, intervened with God not to destroy them, Why?- Because as believers we must understand that it is because of God's grace that we are saved, we must show the same grace (forgiveness and generosity/kindness) to our fellow human beings, otherwise we are unjust before God and will have the same fate as those who reject God's eternal grace.

Remember the "parable of the unforgiving servant" by our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 18:21-35.
