Assuming Trump win the Presidency, what do you think the first thing is that he will do of any significance?

I would think the first thing he'd do is figure out how to lay out his apartment at the White House, pick a presidential desk from the repertoire of desks, begin nominating his cabinet and other officials, including a Supreme Court Justice. I would also think of those first things to do, he'd also be inclined to figure out after more briefings, whether or not anything actually works.

Then I suppose he'd be firing a lot of people. He seems to be good at saying, "You're fired!"

I doubt he will build a wall without Congress, and I am sure there will be a number of other things he will do as President. But y'all have to remember, Article II governs presidents. He may have a say in foreign affairs and the military, but everything else is governed by Congress except for executive orders and those executive orders are also limited in scope.

I would hope he holds a surplus sale, you know, to get rid of useless stuff laying around and maybe have a yard sale. That might relieve a few taxpayers.

My recollection is that he wanted to raise corporate income taxes, and sock companies who have expatriated cash overseas who refused to reinvest domestically. In order to do that I am sure there have to be some tax code changes, but also may help kick start some domestic industry and hirings.

All of that is a hopeful, whether he can or would do anything is about the same as Hillary Clinton taking smack and not being able to deliver.

Everything is compromise and often all you get is half a quarter or a tenth of a loaf with lots of strings attached. Such is the nature of a Republican form of government, but one that seems to have functioned for a long time until the last 40 years or so post-Watergate where there's way too much BS over abortion, guns, drugs and the like.

Too many hotbutton social engineering issues hogging up the public's eye. Not enough time spent actually analyzing things and coming up with workable solutions.

With any luck, the plumbing will keep working, the sewers won't back up, the AC and heat will still work, and the swimming pool will be kept clean and skimmed.

Okay, I was speaking about the White House. Now as for the rest of the country, the band will march on. Where? Who knows.

Quit. If not officially then by proxy and we'll get rule by Pence. Trump is incapable of governing.

Lower taxes for corporations. Significant to him so he can move his companies back here

I don't think much will get done b/c he will face too much opposition. I'm worried that the spoiled brat will quit and that loathsome Pence will take over.
