Lip piercing...how is the swelling immediately after?
I was wanting to get spider bites in my lower lip tomorrow afternoon, but I also have to work like an hour and a half after I get it done...will the swelling be horrible at this point? can I ice it immediately to keep the swelling down?
in contrast to Laura's answer, my wife had her lip pierced like 7 years ago and she said it didn't swell at all...I know it will hurt and be sore for awhile, I just don't want the swelling to be bad looking...

I would wait to get it done until you have a day off work. It will swell and hurt, you won't want to talk.
