    Jehovah’s great day.

This day is detailed in the Scriptures as a time of battle, a great and fear-inspiring day of darkness and burning anger, a day of fury, distress, anguish, desolation, and alarm. “What, then, will the day of Jehovah mean to you people?” God asked wayward Israel by the mouth of his prophet Amos. This: “It will be darkness, and no light, just as when a man flees because of the lion, and the bear actually meets him; and as when he went into the house and supported his hand against the wall, and the serpent bit him.” (Am 5:18-20) Isaiah was told: “Look! The day of Jehovah itself is coming, cruel both with fury and with burning anger.” (Isa 13:9) “That day is a day of fury, a day of distress and of anguish, a day of storm and of desolation, a day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick gloom.” (Zep 1:15) During such a time of trouble, one’s money is absolutely worthless. “Into the streets they will throw their very silver . . . Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them in the day of Jehovah’s fury.”—Eze 7:19; Zep 1:18.

Spiritually the churches have been broke for a long time. Shortly the churches, including Buddhism, nominal Christianity, Islam, Taoism, Sikhism, Hinduism, Judaism and more will all go broke literally when they are dismantled and destroyed by a majority of nations in our near future. See Rev 16, 17 18 and 19 for details as to how this all plays out.

Or were thinking of the tv evangelist who with tears in his eyes say, "I have sinned". Was that because he got caught in bed with a secretary? Or was it because he could see his fortune slipping away?

Or the one who commanded his followers to contribute 8M to build his university? LOL

some churches just ask for money it's like a donation, money is usually used to improve the church. Chuches asking for money has nothing to do with God. The problem with atheists is they take things out of contexts. If they hear a story about a church asking for money they will turn it into something else to. Atheists will do anything to make religion look bad they are desperate for converts

Rev. 18:21: “A strong angel lifted up a stone like a great millstone and hurled it into the sea, saying: ‘Thus with a swift pitch will Babylon the great city be hurled down, and she will never be found again.

Revelation 17:1-5 says: “‘Come, I will show you the judgment upon the great harlot who sits on many waters [peoples], with whom the kings [political rulers] of the earth committed fornication, whereas those who inhabit the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.’ . . . And upon her forehead was written a name, a mystery: ‘Babylon the Great, the mother of the harlots and of the disgusting things of the earth.’” Revelation 18:7 adds that “she glorified herself and lived in shameless luxury.”

Why does the Vatican have the huge underground vaults crammed with gold, silver, gems, art and other valuables and huge investments that amount to more than the entire wealth of America all gained at the expense of the poor and none of it going to any charitable cause to alleviate suffering or even being spent on evangelism – just hoarded!

The lavish spending by many churches and the posh lifestyles of certain TV evangelists will continue to be exposed. Their support will dry up. Any religion without God's backing will fail.

The collapse of all false religion begins the great tribulation Jesus foretold.
