If a person's goal through fitness is to look great, are they still allowed to have fun a couple times per month with their friends?
Just wondering if a person who's goal is to look great, and also spends 6 days in the gym per week. Well is it ok for them to go out a couple nights per month and let loose and have a good time? A few cocktails watching a sporting event or something like that?
This person does not compete. They just enjoy the gym to feel great and stay attractive.

Of course it's "allowed". No one is stopping you - you're an adult. And so long as the number of calories you expend is more than the number you consume, you can enjoy yourself every once in a while.
I mean, if you couldn't do this, what's the point of the exercise? But seriously, some drinks are way more calorie-laden than others. You can indulge, but if you're concerned about doing so without packing on pounds, then learn a bit about the calorie counts for the different drinks you like, and go to those nights planning to drink things that are a bit lighter. This way, you don't accidentally drink your entire day's worth of calories. Likewise, if you like to eat munchies while you drink, you can feel free to do so - just make sure that what you're eating doesn't have your entire day's worth of calories. And if you over do it on one night, make sure that you make up for the extra calories over the next week or so, and it will all balance out.
