Is this a good way to put myself out there?
Hello, I'm 23 years old. My other job is retail where I do 2 or 3 days a week, part time. With so much spare time, I wash cars on the side to earn money (clean cars, wax, clean rims, interior cleaning, vacuum, wipe downs, clean door jams, complete detail). I have good prices. Im very motivated, and hate being home all the time.
Do you think it would look good, and professional if I called around to dealerships, and car lots to see if they have any cars they will like clean, and hopefully be a regular car care person for them? Benefits me as well as them.
I have my own cleaning supplies, just not water, and electricity.

You're describing, "detailing." That you don't even know the terminology of the business you want to get into would be a major problem. And most car dealers already have detailers. You can watch want ads for open detailing positions but, you seem pretty unemployable.

Most dealerships hire minimum wage workers to man the wash rack. Since all the cars on the lot need to be regularly washed to make them more attractive to buyers they usually have their own equipment to do it.
