If Donald Trump dies prior to taking the Presidential Oath, who becomes president?
I've tried looking up the answer, and the best answer that I could find is that pretty much each state's electoral college would choose a new person. Unless each, or the majority, chooses the same person such as Trump's running mate, it seems pointless

Section 3 of the 20th amendment basically states that if the president-elect dies, the vice president would fill his position and would be sworn in on January 20th, making him the new president.
