Does anyone think that Volkswagen/Audi/Porsche will ever build a vehicle that will meet emissions?

Update:

If I am reading the articles correctly, I believe that Audi has also been cheating emissions on gas powered vehicles equipped with Automatic Transmissions.

    Gas vehicles, sure, Diesels are already struggling to meet today's requirements; I think soon diesel cars will be history in the US.

    The car did meet emissions, they just rigged it so it only did it when tested.
