Does Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 spoil Dragon Ball Super?
So I haven't watched any of Dragon Ball Super yet (I know, it's lame, but I'd just rather wait for the English Dub), but I want to get Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. I know there are elements of the Super timeline in the game.
Just curious -- will playing through Xenoverse 2 spoil the events of Dragon Ball Super?

Kind of, yes. It will at least spoil who the main villain really is, since one of the mysteries of that Super arc was figuring out the identify of the actual villain. Some plot elements are changed, but many of the moves and themes were taken from Super, so if you haven't seen Super yet, you'll probably be spoiled a bit from Xenoverse 2.

If you haven't seen the Battle of Gods and Resurrection of F movies, then yes, it will spoil Super, but if you already have seen those movies, then aside from a few characters and their fighting styles, it doesn't spoil anything.
