mixing the sprays of bleach and air freshener dangerous? (details)?
my husband used a spray-bleach in the bathroom after use, and then air freshener. when i walked in, the smell was very bad. can the sprays react and make a dangerous fume?

Probably not. If it were another cleaner, I would say maybe, because you can not mix bleach with ammonia, that does cause a gas. It's about the only way that household bleach becomes dangerous. The reason they dilute the chlorine in bleach is to make it safer to use. Even then, if you mix it with ammonia, it causes a reaction, and puts off a deadly gas. I can't imagine an air freshener using ammonia.

I just know about bleach should not be mixed but in general you only use one at a time.
you can get a chlorine reaction.stick to one and never mix.
