Got ear lobe piercings three days ago and one side I sleep on is still swollen. Is that normal?

I know sleeping on it must irritate it so I'm just wondering if that may be why it's still swollen or do you think it's getting infected? Should I take my piercings out or give it more time? The person who pierced my ears said the swelling should be gone by the second day and it did go away for my right ear but my left is swollen still. I've been cleaning them religiously 3 times a day and twisting/moving back and forth.
