Have you ever broken your ankle and had to use crutches? Tell me how it happened.?

I fell off my bicycle and my foot got caught between the handlebars and the bike frame. They put my foot and ankle in a plaster cast for about 8 weeks. I used crutches all of that time.

well i haven't but my lodger has. it went like this, early one morning i heard him scream and thinking he had cramp i rushed into his room expecting to straighten his foot to stop the cramping. he shout no don't do that i think i've broken my toe. anyway he wouldn't go to the hospital till the morning and when we did he had broken his big toe so they wrapped it up and gave him crutches.

now we get to how he had done it. it seems he had been dreaming of a big rat attacking him so he kicked out at it and hit the radiator in his room with his foot !. when i stopped laughing all he could say sulkily was its not funny, trouble was everyone from his friends through to his doctor thought it was.

Football in 3rd grade I was on defense and I was recovering a fumble. I was on crutches for 1 week
