Well you have to change your way of thinking and put yourself out there. Even if you have nothing to offer, you have to think of yourself as someone who has a lot to offer when approaching a girl. It's just a mindset, confidence is key. If you're not confident, fake it and it will come eventually. Maybe if you get a girl to like you or even date you, it will motivate you to do more with your life then eventually you will have a lot to offer a girl. It's all about changing your attitude towards yourself and life. Cutting down on the porn will also help a ton (not saying shut it off completely, but once or twice a week should be good enough). You have nothing to offer if you're still planning on going home and taking care of yourself. Where's the risk? The trust? The actual complimentary behavior?
You shouldn't bother dating if you're going to play your own fiddle.
