it would be ok. but you have to be a bit careful as its a server it may cost a bit more for RAM and gaming graphics is limited. you can also buy direct from the makers site. Obviously it has no OS because it has NO DISK DRIVE! but its cpu options might be quite good. it has DisplayPort out by default according to the specs.
It has good Linux support as HP provide all the drivers! nice. see the pdf for links.
