Do you think there will ever be another player to hit .400 for a season in Major League Baseball?

Update:

The closest anyone has come was Tony Gwynn hitting .394 in 1994. And in a full season George Brett hit .390 in 1980, but had a bit of a stretch at the end of the season that kept him out.

    No. Recently I thought if any could do it it was Cabrera. But he's not hitting 400

    Yes. A good hitter in an expansion year, playing in a protected lineup (meaning he'll so more good pitches) could have a chance.

    Probably not in the immediate future because the pitching in general has gotten better for the most part (or hitters just seem to forget how to hit, who knows). But I think there will be one to achieve that someday.
