How to open the browser on new computer?
It s a HP running WIN 10 home.
I can t find the browser, the question icon says I have 2 important things, but it won t open.
When I go to that icon that looks like a globe it overs some search suggestions but won t go to any of them.
I am connected to WiFi via my own hotspot.
I did get it Edge to open, after the computer updated and burned up almost 10 gigs of bandwidth! Who would think that a brand new computer running the latest OS would need a HUGE update before it is even functional?
Once I could get online I found out how to disable those darn updates. I think MS is in collusion with the ISPs to jack up our bills!

If nothing else works, just find the "cortana bar" (down by your start button) that says "Ask me anything" and type the word edge. The browser will be the top of the returned answers.

Windows 10 has its own new browser called "edge", it looks like a large lowercase "e".
