The Kingdom of God is the expression of Jehovah’s universal sovereignty toward his creatures, or the means used by him to express that sovereignty.

This term is used particularly to designate the manifestation of God’s sovereignty through the royal government headed by his Son, Jesus Christ.

Kingdom may refer to the rulership of the one anointed as King or to the earthly realm ruled by that heavenly government.

technically, the kingdom of God was not of the earth, but Jesus did pray that the kingdom Come! on earth as it is in Heaven.

I think of this: the entire universe is what God created and then He created the foundations of the galaxies, but in each galaxy there are kingdoms and dominions throughout each galaxy. if God started with one galaxy, or just one planet, he has built trillions of galaxies and where there are sons of God, the kingdom of God reigns. and where there are colonies, kings and dominions rule the planets and colonies. the kingdom of God of is in a heaven above all heavens. that's where God resides. there might be entire star systems where planets are Fallow, and waiting to be inhabited by the sons of God or the sons of Christ. and we can be those sons, if we overcome all things. see Rev 3:21, and 21:7 kjv
