Pain around knee cap after ACL Surgery.?

I tore my ACL 2 times in one year playing football. After my second surgery, at around week six of rehab, I have gotten this pain around my knee cap. Im week 16 right now and its getting worse.

My doc said to man up and work through it, and Im pretty sure he says that cause Im a big dude, however this pain limits me. Is this normal, they took my patella and a hamstring, so maybe thats it. Any suggestions to take the pain away?

I had an issue with a knee after an ACL surgery... finally had the doctor go back in with a scope to see what it was. There was a chunk of scar tissue about as large as the end of your thumb under the kneecap, which would jam the joint when I tried to stand up or sit down.

Your doctor sounds like an ***... tell him to fix the damn thing.
