What did Steve Bashear meant by saying we have a 'Moral Obligation' of taking in illegals?

We cannot fix all countries in the world, we have no obligation of taking in anyone, am I right?

If we could fix all countries in the world, there wouldn't be such a moral obligation to take people in.

He meant "this speech I'm givin' has nothing to do with the president's speech tonight, but rather is a critique of Trump's first month and a stroking of hurt democrat egos".

You don't understand what "moral obligation" means, do you? We are partly responsible for the chaos in the Middle East, which gives a moral responsibility, and then we are one of the most prosperous countries . We have benefitted for years from the labor of illegal immigrants, so it is now immoral and unethical to treat them as badly as we are. We pretend to be civilized and religious- it is then hypocritical to sit by and let people starve and die.

He meant "Import more illegal votes for the Democrat party, that's the only way we'll beat Trump in 2020"
