    The Turks never got passed the Balkans, although they did attack Vienna. The Moors, who invaded Spain were Maghreb Arabs and Berber from North Africa. Dates vary, but most would say they finally lost all possessions in Spain in 1492.

    the Moors were north African and occupied much of southern Spain for hundreds of years there is still much of their influence there in architecture and culture it waned more than left they were similar to Turks so you are not that far out
