If I have an infected ear piercing, can I use rubbing alcohol to clean it?

    no omg no...best thing you can do is clean it with contact lenses cleaning solution

    (saline solution) its basically what mallory recommended but more sterile because its used for cleaning contacts

    No you should not, use non-iodized sea salt or Epsom salt, 1/2 teaspoon per cup of warm water and soak your ear for 5 minutes. Do this twice a day until the infection clears.

    No. The alcohol will burn the ear and could potentially cause more issues with the infected ear. I would recommend going to Icing or Clarke's and buying some of their ear care solution. I have found that this works very well.
