Question about edible dosage?
My two buddies and I have experimented with nutmeg a lot and we've only used marijuana a few times but we like nutmeg better because it produces a similar but much longer lasting high. My very first head space was from nutmeg. Today I bought a few pot cookies each has 1.7 grams weed. Is 1.7 grams too much? The serving size is only half a cookie but I kind of want to try eating the whole thing. In the past I've gotten pretty stoned from a pinch of weed.
I don't have any idea how to dose with weed. Usually with nutmeg I consume 4-8 tablespoons, if that helps, depending on potency of powder. Sometimes I just buy whole nuts and grind them myself. It takes much less 'nutmeg' that way. Anyway thanks in advance
I've eaten a few more edibles. The last one I ate was a huge cannabis infused cinnamon roll. It was gigantic, 1 gram per serving. There were two servings in one, half the bun. Ate the whole thing. It had lots of frosting and was super rich, hard to finish. Apparently there was weed infused into the frosting as well as the dough and cinnamon filling. Probably the highest I've felt from weed. Going to stick with nutmeg for now.

Cannabis is dosed in milligrams of THC, not grams of plant material.
If each pot cookie contains 1.7 grams of weed, you have absolutely ZERO idea how much THC is in there.
By the way, the proper way to make edibles is NOT to stick raw plant material in cookie dough.
Amateurs....pfft.
