if instead of running for cardio i did swimming and did weight training along with it how long should the work out last.?

how long should a work out last and in what way should it be structured. wights first then swimming or vice versa.

    Honestly, whatever you set the pace to. Although I work out quite frequently, I do not have the time to spend in the gym for hours like other people do, so my breaks tend to be literally only twenty seconds rather then a minute or two like my gym rat buddies do. My friends have tried my workout routine and they all like it so I'm not doing anything different then them other then minimizing the time for my breaks.

    My workout lasts between 20 to 30 minutes, my friends can be in the gym between 45 minutes to two hours.

    Workouts are never based on how long they should be, they are based on how YOU feel about doing them.
