Never noticed mine. It was found right before a colonoscopy.

A little history. I am a 45 year old male.

I have two cousins on my dads side who have pacemakers that they got in their 40's. I also have an aunt on the same side who died in her 50's from heart problems. A few years ago my older brother got into road bike riding and did it quite a bit. One day he passed out while riding his bike and regained consciousness on the side of the road bruised and bloodied. It turned out that he had Atrial fibrillation and passed out from it. He also had to get a pacemaker. Because of the family history his doctor said all of his siblings should go in and get an EKG. That was a few years ago. My younger sister went in and her doctor gave her a 10 minute test and said he found no problems and sent her home. Because of that I didn't go in.

for the past 10 to 20 years or so I have had times where I am extremely exhausted. I went in to a doctor 10 years ago and the only thing he found was that I was vitamin b12 deficient and recommended that I take vitamin b12 every day. That seems to help if I stay on top of it but I still have periods of exhaustion. I have also been noticing that I feel what I am going to call flutters around where my heart is. Typically right after I yawn and stretch, or when I sit or lay down. If I am really active throughout the day they are pretty strong when I first lay down for the night.

I set up a doctors appt, for Monday but I am worried they won't find anything like with my sister. It doesn't happen all the time.

I wanted to have some additional data to provide the doctor so I purchased one of these

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A4W8AUK/ref=o...

I received it last night but so far it says it hasn't detected anything even though I felt at least one flutter during one of the tests. The first test on this device has to be reviewed by a cardiologist. After that you can view the tests yourself and the software on the device does the analysis. I received the cardiologist report last night and it said they didn't find anything, but I didn't feel any flutters when I first took the test.

Am I just overly paranoid? Is it normal to feel flutters like that?

It feels like you don't have proper rhythm.

I felt sped up and it may jump around.

Avoid caffeine as this seems to provoke it. You may not have any symptoms at all.
