Why don't followers of Islam play, or listen to music?

    Because Islam preaches against that....for some reason

    Music is haram in Islam. Satan uses music to encourage evil, as you can see today in many songs that encourage fornication and evil deeds, and even on TV when something sinful happens, music will be playing in support of it (i.e a couple getting back together and fornicating, music plays as if this is a happy ending).

    Go to any city in any country where Muslims live and you'll find that's not true.
