    Sounds like a job you'd apprentice for actually. Go ask at the zoo.

    Expect to need a minimum of master's degree, and many years of experience in zoo work before you might reach that position.

    Yes. You would need to study zoology, biology, and take business classes. You should probably get a job/volunteer at a zoo to learn what it is really like.

    You might even need a masters or doctorate depending on how high up in the zoo you want to be.

    If you want. You also can OJT at the zoo. Just don't get despondent when chimpanzees display PhD behavior at you.
